AYURVEDA TREATMENT

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a traditional medicine that originated in India and
is said to have a history of more than 5,000 years.
The word “Ayurveda” is derived from the Sanskrit words

Ayurveda means “science of life” or “knowledge of life”
Ayurveda focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit.
Ayurveda is believed to be useful in both the prevention
and treatment of disease.
Its basic tenets are based on the following three “doshas” (life energies)

The balance of these doshas in our body differs according to each
individual’s constitution,
Each individual’s constitution (prakriti) is formed.
When this balance is disturbed, illness and dis-ease are thought to occur.
In Ayurvedic treatment, aims to balance the doshas through natural therapies
such as diet, herbs, meditation, yoga, and massage.
Ayurveda also emphasizes “panchakarma,” a detoxification method
for purification of the body, and dietary and lifestyle advice based
on individual constitutions.

Vata – represents the energy of wind and air and is responsible
for movement, breathing, and nerve function.
Pitta – represents the energy of fire and water and
is responsible for digestion, metabolism, and the regulation of body temperature.
Kapha – represents the energy of water and earth and supports body structure,
stability, and immune function.

Post-Treatment Lifestyle Care

Aftercare following treatment is extremely important.
It is essential to maintain a mindful lifestyle—including diet and physical activity—for a period equal to the duration of the treatment itself.
Whether or not you follow this aftercare regimen can greatly influence the effectiveness of the treatment
.

Be especially careful for the number of days you received treatment, and then gradually return to your normal routine over the following three months.
By doing so, it is said that the benefits of the treatment can be felt more deeply, lasting for three months, six months, or even longer.

It’s also important to understand that Ayurvedic treatments are not about relying entirely on doctors, medicines, or external help.
Rather, they require the active participation of the individual receiving the treatment, who must be fully engaged in their own healing process.
