The meaning of the holy word “TATTWAMASI”

Tat Twam Asi in Sanskrit meaning “That is you”.

Tattwamasi is a Sanskrit phrase which has taken from Chandogya Upanishad.
Its one of the Mahavakyas in Vedanta Sanatana Dharma. This word can be translated as ” You are that” or “It’s you”.

It is one of the four principle Mahavakyas, or “Great Sayings” from the
ancient Hindu text, The Upanishads. Tat Twam Asi is used within Hindu
and yoga philosophy to refer to the unity of Atman (the individual self
or soul) with Brahman (universal consciousness or the Absolute).

Tat Twam Asi unites the macrocosmic ideas of God and universal
consciousness with the microcosmic individual expression of the Self.
This mantra highlights the notion that all beings are intimately connected t
o universal energy and cannot be separated from it.

Tat Twam Asi may be chanted in repetitions or recited silently as part
of a meditation practice.

These utterances are contemplated as part of self-exploration and
are generally embedded within practices such as meditation and
mantra chanting.

Yes in your mind, body, speech, thought and every inch of your body is
made with the blessings of the paramathma .The Lord affirms that
“The kingdom of God is within us” and that one is not to wander outside
to achieve salvation.
