Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a traditional medicine that originated in India and
is said to have a history of more than 5,000 years.
The word “Ayurveda” is derived from the Sanskrit words
“Ayus” means ‘life’ and “Veda” means ‘knowledge’ or ”science,

Ayurveda means “science of life” or “knowledge of life”
Ayurveda focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit.
Ayurveda is believed to be useful in both the prevention
and treatment of disease.
Its basic tenets are based on the following three “doshas” (life energies)

The balance of these doshas in our body differs according to each
individual’s constitution,
Each individual’s constitution (prakriti) is formed.
When this balance is disturbed, illness and dis-ease are thought to occur.
In Ayurvedic treatment, aims to balance the doshas through natural therapies
such as diet, herbs, meditation, yoga, and massage.
Ayurveda also emphasizes “panchakarma,” a detoxification method
for purification of the body, and dietary and lifestyle advice based
on individual constitutions.

Vata – represents the energy of wind and air and is responsible
for movement, breathing, and nerve function.
Pitta – represents the energy of fire and water and
is responsible for digestion, metabolism, and the regulation of body temperature.
Kapha – represents the energy of water and earth and supports body structure,
stability, and immune function.

Ayuruveda Treatment

The treatment usually follows two phases.
The first half involves a variety of detoxification processes to purify
The body is then prepared by removing the armas (toxins),
and the body is made clear and white in color. Then,
with appropriate treatment, the body is regenerated in a way that it is repainted.

Day 1

On your first day, you will begin with a consultation with our Ayurvedic doctor.
Based on a detailed discussion and physical assessment,

the doctor will evaluate your dosha (body constitution) and your current state of health.
For those who wish, we also offer a blood test to assess important health markers such as

liver function, blood sugar, cholesterol levels, and anemia.
Using both the consultation and, if available, the blood test results,

the doctor will carefully design a personalized treatment plan,
including suitable Ayurvedic therapies and herbal medicines.
For example, depending on your constitution and health condition,
treatments or herbal medicines containing a large amount of oil may not be appropriate.
By taking your overall physical condition into consideration,
we are able to create a treatment plan that prioritizes both effectiveness and safety.
Based on the consultation, your treatments will be tailored to your individual condition and health concerns,
marking the beginning of your healing journey.
In most cases, the program starts with a gentle and deeply relaxing full-body Ayurvedic oil massage.

The herbal oils used are carefully selected according to your unique constitution and
your condition on that particular day.

Please note: Blood tests are optional. If you have undergone a recent health check-up
or blood test within the past three months, you are welcome to bring a copy of your results.
Our Ayurvedic doctor can use this information as an additional reference when planning your treatment.
If you choose to have a blood test during your stay, it provides an objective overview of your

current health—including liver function, blood sugar, cholesterol levels, and signs of anemia.
In addition to helping determine the most appropriate Ayurvedic treatment plan,
it also serves as a valuable general health assessment.

follow-up interview

along with practical self-care recommendations, dietary guidance, lifestyle suggestions,
advice for maintaining emotional balance, and, where appropriate,
recommendations regarding Ayurvedic herbal medicines.
The purpose of this report is to help you maintain the benefits of your treatments for

as long as possible by providing practical guidance that can be easily incorporated into your daily life.
We hope it will serve as a valuable resource, allowing you to continue integrating

the wisdom of Ayurveda into your everyday routine and support your long-term health and well-being.

final day

Post-Treatment Lifestyle Care

Aftercare following treatment is extremely important.
It is essential to maintain a mindful lifestyle—including diet and physical activity

—for a period equal to the duration of the treatment itself.
Whether or not you follow this aftercare regimen can greatly influence the effectiveness of the treatment
.
Be especially careful for the number of days you received treatment,
and then gradually return to your normal routine over the following three months.
By doing so, it is said that the benefits of the treatment can be felt more deeply,

lasting for three months, six months, or even longer.
It’s also important to understand that Ayurvedic treatments are not about relying entirely
on doctors, medicines, or external help.
Rather, they require the active participation of the individual receiving the treatment,

who must be fully engaged in their own healing process.
